A person seeks to know the true nature of many things throughout his life. Because, "knowing", a person is motivated by a lot to see his face clearly, draw a vivid conclusion and follow through it. Including knowledge of history Ham. The study of history is a saying that Ham, in the footsteps of many years, goes all the way to mosius. Now, another idea. Hush, what was the history of the railway in Uzbekistan, and then developed? It does not require "millennia" of road walking, so much so that if you stand on the threshold of the 21st century and look until the second half of the 19th century, history will open up.

The beginning of the construction of the railway.

The Central Asian Railway is a direct continuation of the Caspian railway. Therefore, it is appropriate to dwell a little on the construction of this railway. The province of Kaspiyorti under the Turkestan general governorate was formed from Akhaltaka(Ashgabad), Tejen, Marv districts. Historically it is known that a large part of the area faced the emirate of Bukhara.

In 1880, general M. on his march on the trail of the conquest of Turkmenistan.D.Skobelov is appointed leader. The new commander will be assigned not only to conquer this God, but also to transfer railways to his occupied lands. To directly lead the construction of the railway, the Railway General M.N.Annenkov is appointed assistant to Skobelov.

The railway, which was sent after the army on its way, arrives at Mullacore station in September 1880.

On September 20, 1881, iron tracks were laid at a distance of 232 kilometers from Mikhailov's armpits to red Arvat. The railway arrives in Ashgabat in 1885, and a year later in Marv, Chorjo. In the foreground stood Amudarya, who had long been a shield-azal-to the center of the Turkestan region.

The amudario bridge was commissioned on 6 January 1888. On the same day, the first train of 4 cars passed, each of which was designed to carry 25 tons of cargo.

Construction of the bridge took 124 days and it served for 13 years. It was through this bridge that the road to Turkestan was opened.

Bukhara on the days when the train arrived

The railway was also very difficult to build at a distance of 21 kilometers from chorjöy to Khojadavlat.

The first train at Kogon railway station, formerly called New Bukhara, was taken on 26 February 1888.

The construction of the railway from New Bukhara to Samarkand took place in the winter months of 1888.

The teir line from New Bukhara (Kogon)to Termiz was entered in our history under the name "Bukhara Railways". The "Bukhara Railways" was a railway built from Kogon to Termiz in 1914-1916. Since the Central Asian Railway, built in 1880-1899, passed through the northern part of the Emirate of Bukhara, its south-western and south-eastern parts were left out of the railway.

Construction of the Bukhara railway under the direction of engineer Kovalevsky began in the spring of 1914. The Bukhara railway was completed in 1916 at the cost of many casualties, difficulties. Although the construction work ended in 1916, its original stages were put into use from March 1915.
